Shelly Orthodontics, PC

Dani Beck

This is Dani Beck, one of our receptionists. She has been working at Shelly Orthodontics, PC since July 2017. Dani is recently engaged to Brandon, and they are planning a wedding and just purchased their first home!

Her favorite thing about working at Shelly Orthodontics, PC is the fun and laid-back atmosphere, and she really enjoys working in the orthodontics specialty. She enjoys decorating, shopping, and spending time with her fiancé and friends/family.

Some fun facts about Dani are if she could have any superhuman power, she would pick invisibility, she is currently watching the Walking Dead on Netflix, and if she could only eat one thing for the rest of her life, it would definitely be French fries. (Great pick!)

Liz Allison

We are very excited to welcome Liz Allison back to the Shelly Orthodontics, PC team! Liz worked with us previously as an orthodontic assistant when we were Mergen & Shelly over 15 years ago. We are elated to have her back with us.

Liz lives in Badger with her husband, Roy. They have one daughter named Makalya. Liz is an animal lover.(We love animal lovers.) She has Lily, a spoiled and privileged Chihuahua, Mango a dysfunctional parrot, Big Rhonda, an overweight Hamster, and a frog sanctuary in her backyard. Her hobbies include gardening, camping with friends/family, and puzzles.

It is so good to have her awesome and giggly personality back on the team!

Lori Read

This is Lori Read. Lori is our entire insurance department, our software/tech extraordinaire, and in charge of many other behind-the-scenes business operations! She has been working at Shelly Orthodontics, PC since December 1988.

Lori grew up in Fort Dodge and currently lives right outside of Fort Dodge on an acreage. Lori is married to Monte, and they have three children, Austin, Brady, and Alexis, ages 21, 19, and 16.

One of her favorite things about working at Shelly Orthodontics, PC is the understanding and flexibility that allowed her to be a mom and continue to work. She also really enjoys interacting with patients and parents.

If you ever call our office and get transferred to "Lori who takes care of insurance," this is her. Lori has two dogs Bella and August and two cats, Jazmin and Orange Leaf. One fun fact about Lori is the superhuman power she wished she had is the ability to fly.

A skill she wished she had but does not is she wishes she could back up a boat trailer. (Perhaps there is a good story behind this one!) Something interesting about Lori that most people don't know is that she enjoys and is pretty good at woodworking furniture. We are so fortunate to have Lori at our office.

Tiffany Green

This is Tiffany Green. Tiffany is one of our orthodontic assistants. She began working with us at Shelly Orthodontics, PC at the end of July 2019.

Tiffany is married to Brenan, and they have two dogs, two pot-bellied pigs, four goats, and chickens! (We so love that she is an animal lover.) Her hobbies include teaching tumbling, hunting, golfing, and spending time with friends and family. Her favorite middle school/high school memory is getting to participate in the state dance every year!

We are so excited to have Tiffany as a part of our amazing team here at Shelly Orthodontics, PC!

Megan Johnson

This is Megan Johnson, one of our orthodontic assistants. She began in October 2018 with us. Megan has one son Maxwell Lee Johnson, and he is 16 months old.

She grew up and presently lives in Humboldt, Iowa, with her husband, two dogs, and five cats. All her animals are rescues. (We think that is so cool. She has a heart of gold!) Her favorite middle/high school memory is playing softball. When we asked her what superhuman power she wishes she had, she said to read minds.
